Glycine ethyl ester hydrochloride powder is prepared by esterification of glycine with ethanol. The dry hydrogen chloride is absorbed by the ethanol solution, then the glycine-ethanol mixture is added, and the mixture is stirred vigorously for 1-1.5h. After being heated and dissolved, the filtrate is cooled and crystallized to obtain the finished product.
