Thionordiazepam Raw Materials were prepared by the reaction of 5-chloro-2 -[(chloro-acetyl) amino] diphenylone with hexamethylenetetramine under alkaline conditions to produce 7-chloro-1, 3-dihydro5-phenyl-2h-1, 4-benzodiazepam - one, which was reacted with phosphorus pentasulfide under nitrogen protection.
