Fusidic acid, also known as fusosporin, sodium fusosporin, sodium fusosporin, fusosporin, or steridomycin, is a fusosporin antibiotic with a steroid skeleton, its chemical structure is similar to cephalosporin P, not a hormone. Produced by the fungus Fusidiumcoccineum or certain Cephalosporiumspp. Fusidic acid powder is a non-cephalosporin antibiotic, so there is no need to do skin allergy tests.
