Malotilate powder CAS number 59937-28-9, molecular formula C12H16O4S2, light yellow crystal, melting point about 60.5℃. Soluble in benzene, cyclohexane, n-hexane or ether. A hepatitis adjuvant, Malotilate is used to improve liver function in compensatory cirrhosis. Malotilate powder inhibited the permeability of RLE monolayer which was increased by serum starvation. Malotilate powder can prevent tumor cells from invading vascular endothelium and inhibit tumor metastasis by strengthening the cell-cell contact of endothelial cells.

1. Liver protein metabolism improver. Malotilate powder can activate liver function and inhibit the progression of liver fibrosis. It is suitable for the treatment of chronic hepatitis, compensatory stage of liver cirrhosis and hypoproteinemia caused by advanced schistosomiasis.

Production methodprocess of Malotilate powder

Diisopropyl malonate reacts with carbon disulfide in dimethyl sulfoxide and in the presence of potassium hydroxide. The resulting product reacts with 1, 1, 1-trichloroethane in the presence of potassium hydroxide to give Malotilate powder.
