Uses and synthesis of Cyanuric acid powder

• Cyanuric acid powder, also known as isocyanuric acid, cyanuric acid, molecular formula :C3H3N3O3, white crystal, precipitated from water, with two crystal waters. Taste slightly bitter, basically non-toxic, soluble in hot water, slightly soluble in cold water, aqueous solution is acidic, soluble in potassium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide aqueous solution, insoluble in cold alcohol, ether, benzene and other organic solvents;
• Cyanuric acid is mainly used in the manufacture of cyanuric acid bromide, chloride, bromine chloride, iodide chloride and cyanuric acid salts, esters, used in the synthesis of new disinfectants, water treatment agents, bleach, chlorinating agents, brominating agents, antioxidants, paint coatings, selective herbicides and metal cyanide moderators. Cyanuric acid powder can also be directly used as chlorine stabilizers for swimming pools, nylon, plastic, polyester flame retardants and cosmetic additives, and the synthesis of special resins.

Used for synthesis of cyanuric acid-formaldehyde resin, epoxy resin, antioxidant, coating, adhesive, pesticide herbicide, metal cyanide corrosion inhibitor, polymer material modifier, etc. It is used in the production of drug halotrihydroxyzine.
