Rubber vulcanization accelerator CZ, scientific name N-Cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazolesulfenamide powder, is a highly active after-effect semi-ultrafast accelerator with excellent coking resistance, safe processing and short vulcanization time. N-Cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazolesulfenamide is marketed as Accelerator CZ. This product is light yellow powder, slightly odor, non-toxic, specific gravity is 1.31~1.34, melting point is not lower than 94℃, stable storage.

The critical vulcanization temperature is 138℃, and it has the advantages of excellent scorch resistance and fast vulcanization speed. N-Cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazolesulfenamide has slight discoloration, is a spray, and has excellent aging resistance. It can be used as a vulcanization accelerator alone or in combination with other accelerators such as D, DT, TT, TS, etc. N-Cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazolesulfenamide powder is used for the preparation of general industrial supplies such as tires, tapes, cables and hose.

Production methodprocess of N-Cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazolesulfenamide powder

N-Cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazolesulfenamide powder is prepared by reacting the accelerator M (2-thiolbenzothiazole) with cyclohexylamine. The accelerant M was mixed with cyclohexylamine aqueous solution, and the coarse product was oxidized with sodium hypochlorite under stirring. The solid material was separated, washed with water until neutral, and the finished product was dried below 75℃.
