2-Phenoxyethanol liquid is an organic compound often used in skin care products. It is formed from ethylene glycol and phenol and is commonly found in skin creams and sunscreens. 2-Phenoxyethanol is a colorless oily liquid, 2-Phenoxyethanol is a traditional preservative, colorless slightly sticky oily liquid, slightly aromatic and spicy taste, slightly soluble in water, basically insoluble in mineral oil, can be mixed with acetone, ethanol and glycerin.

2-Phenoxyethanol liquid has significant killing effect on Pseudomonas aeruginosa and inhibition effect on gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
