Uses and synthesis of Solvent Green powder

Solvent Green powder, also known as clear Green 5B, is a dye and pigment with molecular formula C28H22N2O2 and molecular weight of 418.4865. Insoluble in water, soluble in trichloromethane, benzene, chlorobenzene, xylene, DMF and other organic solvents. Solvent Green was obtained by condensation reaction of 1, 4-dihydroxyanthraquinone and p-toluidine after filtration, drying, grinding and screening. Solvent Green powder is mainly used for the coloring of plastic resin, as well as for the coloring of polyester fiber pulp, and also for the coloring of cosmetics.

1. Solvent Green powder is used for the coloring of various resins, as well as for the coloring of polyester fiber pulp, petroleum products, coatings, etc.
2. Solvent Green is mainly used for solvent coloring of polyester fiber, and can also be used for producing polyester masterbatch

Physicochemical Property of Solvent Green powder

Blue-black powder. Insoluble in water, soluble in trichloromethane, benzene, chlorobenzene, xylene, DMF and other organic solvents. It is blue in concentrated sulfuric acid and produces a blue-green precipitate when diluted with water.

Production methodprocess of Solvent Green powder

1, 4-dihydroxyanthraquinone and p-toluidine were used as raw materials. First, 1, 4-dihydroxyanthraquinone was reduced to its leucochromic body, then condensed with p-toluidine, and then oxidized to produce the product. The Solvent Green powder was filtered and dried.
