Uses and synthesis of Bengenin powder

Bengenin powder, also known as dwarf tea, is derived from the rock cabbage Bergenia purpurscens(Hook.f.etThoms.)Engl in the saxifragaceae family. A needle-like or crystalline powder extracted from whole grass. Bengenin has analgesic, sedative, hypnotic and calming effects. At the therapeutic dose, there was no respiratory inhibition and no gastrointestinal smooth muscle spasm. Bengenin powder has good effect on chronic persistent pain and dull visceral pain, but poor effect on acute pain (such as post-operative pain, traumatic pain, etc.) and advanced cancer pain. While producing analgesic effect, it can cause sedation and hypnosis.

Production methodprocess of Bengenin powder
