Production methodprocess of Titanium dioxide powder

• Titanium dioxide CAS 13463-67-7 is produced by chlorination of high grade titanium ore to form TiCl2, refined to high purity TiCl2, and then oxidised.
• The raw ore is decomposed with sulphuric acid, and the resulting liquid is heated to decompose into metatitanic acid, and then roasted to obtain Titanium dioxide Raw Materials.
• Concentrated sulphuric acid is added to the ilmenite ore to dissolve it and extracted with water. The filtrate is added with iron filings, phosphate, etc. and boiled to form TiO(OH)2. The precipitate is washed well and then roasted and crushed to obtain Titanium dioxide powder.
