Production methodprocess of Propyleneglycol alginate powder

An aqueous solution containing 30% alginate, 15.2% sodium alginate and 2.2% calcium alginate was placed in a stainless steel reactor and reacted with excess propylene oxide gas for 30 min at 79°C. After cooling, it was vacuum filtered, washed with acetone, dried and crushed to obtain Propyleneglycol alginate Raw Materials.
