Activated carbon powder is a kind of carbon material with large specific surface area and strong adsorption and decolorization ability. In the 19th century, people used it to decolorize, remove flavor and purify sugar, wine and water. It can also be prepared by using chemical active agents such as phosphoric acid or zinc chloride after carbonization at high temperature and then washing to remove the chemical active agent.
