Uses and synthesis of L-Tryptophan powder

L-Tryptophan was a neutral aromatic amino acid containing indolyl, white or slightly yellow leaf crystal or powder, with a solubility of 1.14 g(25°C) in water, soluble in dilute acid or dilute base, relatively stable in alkaline solution and decomposed in strong acid. L-Tryptophan powder was slightly soluble in ethanol, but insoluble in chloroform and ether.
