Ferric Citrate powder, also known as ferric citrate, is an edible citrate. It is commonly used as an additive or acid in food and feed. Physicochemical Property of Ferric Citrate powder

Ferric Citrate small reddish brown transparent flakes or brown powder. The aqueous solution is acidic and can be gradually reduced to ferrous citrate under the influence of light and heat. Dissolves slowly in water, and hot water dissolves more easily than cold water. Insoluble in ethanol.

Citric acid was added to liquid Ferric hydroxide, heated at a temperature below 60℃, evaporated to paste, coated on a glass plate and dried at low temperature until small flakes were formed, and Ferric Citrate powder was obtained by peeling off.
