Uses and synthesis of Sodium Sorbate powder

Sodium Sorbate powder is white crystalline or crystalline powder. Sodium Sorbate is a preservative. EEC approved for frozen pizza, margarine, cheese, dried apricots. Sodium Sorbate is a food additive. It is widely used in food, beverage, cosmetics and medicine, and has the characteristics of good safety, high anti-corrosion performance and less side effects than benzoic acid. So it's used to replace the toxic additive sodium benzoate.

Applications/Functions of Sodium Sorbate powder

1. Preservatives, antioxidants. Sodium Sorbate powder has high antibacterial properties and has an inhibitory effect on bacteria, mold and yeast, especially good anti-mildew effect. It is widely used in food, beverage, cosmetics and medicine, and has the characteristics of good safety, high anti-corrosion performance and less side effects than benzoic acid. So it's used to replace the toxic additive sodium benzoate.
2. Preservative. EEC approved for frozen pizza, margarine, cheese, dried apricots.
