Chitosan powder is commonly referred to as Chitosan powder, which is also called chitosan, deacetylated chitin, deacylated chitin, soluble chitin, and soluble chitin. Almost insoluble in water, but soluble in organic acids such as formic acid, acetic acid, benzoic acid and naphthenic acid, as well as dilute inorganic acids.
