DL-Serine powder, also known as 2-amino-3-hydroxy-propionic acid, β-hydroxy-alanine, and hydroxy-amino-propionic acid, is an aliphatic neutral amino acid containing hydroxyl group, which is polar but not charged and is a non-essential amino acid for human body. DL-Serine is a non-luminescent, white crystalline powder soluble in water and alcohol solvents. It can be formed by transmethylation of glycine, can also be deammoniated into pyruvate or hydroxypyruvate, and is also an important raw material for the synthesis of choline and cysteine in the body. Because of its special wettability, DL-Serine is used as a cosmetic additive for cream (moisturizer) to maintain the moisture of the cuticle and maintain the softness of the skin; Food additive, used as a nutritional supplement; Pharmaceutical raw materials and infusion.
