Phosphatidylserine liquid, also known as complex neuronic acid (PS), is a phospholipid. Pure PS is a white waxy solid, soluble in most non-polar solvents containing a small amount of water, insoluble in anhydrous acetone, can be extracted from tissue cells by chloroform methanol extraction method. Phosphatidylserine is derived from natural soybean oil residues. It is an active substance in cell membranes, especially in brain cells. Phosphatidylserine improves the function of nerve cells, regulates the transmission of nerve impulses, and enhances the memory function of the brain. Due to its strong lipophilicity, the phosphatidylserine can quickly enter the brain through the blood-brain barrier after absorption, and plays a role in soothing vascular smooth muscle cells and increasing blood supply to the brain.
