L(+) -2-amino-5-urevaleric acid, also known as L-Carnosine, is a dipeptide consisting of β-alanine and histidine. Colorless crystal or white crystalline powder. L-Citrulline powder is soluble in water and weak acid, slightly soluble in ethanol, and insoluble in ether. It is relatively stable at room temperature, but is easily degraded under acidic conditions. It is relatively stable in the pH 3-7 range and can maintain its functional activity. L-Citrulline has many physiological activities such as anti-oxidation, anti-aging, anti-saccharification, cell protection and metal ion chelation.
