Physicochemical Property of Vitamin B4 powder

Vitamin B4 is a phosphate of 6 aminopurine and is a white crystalline powder. It tastes slightly sour. Slightly soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol or chloroform, dissolved in boiling water or sodium hydroxide test solution, slightly soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid. Melting point 360 ~ 365℃.
