Vitamin U powder is derived from a "U" for an ulcer. As the name suggests, Vitamin U is an anti-ulcer agent. Found in cabbage juice in 1954, it is mainly used for the adjuvant treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers, ulcerative colitis, gastrointestinal motor weakness and chronic gastritis, and can promote the repair and healing of the wound surface of the gastrointestinal mucosa and improve the gastrointestinal motor function. Vitamin U is not an essential trace element used to sustain human life, so it is not part of the true vitamin system. The most common sources of Vitamin U are natural green cabbage leaves, as well as alfalfa sprouts, spinach, kale, tomatoes, celery, wheat, turnips and radishes.
