Uses and synthesis of Eugenol liquid

Eugenol liquid 4-allyl-2-methoxyphenol. Molecular formula C10H12O2, molecular weight 164.21. Eugenol CAS 97-53-0 is a colorless to yellowish viscous liquid with a strong lilac aroma. Eugenol Raw Materials can also turn red litmus blue, and react with ethanol solution of ferric trichloride to turn blue. It is also used in medicine and oral hygiene products.

• Eugenol liquid is one of the main components of cloves. Widely used in fragrant myrtle and other fragrances, can be used as a modifier and fixing agent, with colored soap to add fragrance.
• Eugenol CAS 97-53-0 is used to prepare carnation flavor, isoeugenol and vanillin, and is also used as insecticide and preservative
• Eugenol Raw Materials are mainly used to prepare smoked ham, nuts and spices. It is also the main raw material for the synthesis of vanillin.
• Eugenol liquid is mainly used for antibacterial and blood pressure lowering.

Colorless to yellowish thick liquid. Soluble in 2 volumes 60% ethanol with oil. It has dry sweet flowers and spicy aromas. Fragrant carnation, like clove oil aroma. The momentum is strong, powerful and durable, with warm fragrance and taste.

Production methodprocess of Eugenol liquid

An essential oil containing a large amount of eugenol, such as clove oil, is treated with 30% sodium hydroxide solution, and then added with inorganic acid or carbon dioxide gas to precipitate it. Eugenol CAS 97-53-0 can be obtained by steam distillation after it is added with sodium acetate.
