Propylene oxide is synthesized by the reaction of propylene with peracetic acid, and propylene oxide is isomerized into propylene alcohol. The latter reacts with peracetic acid to form epoxide propyl alcohol (glycidyl Glycerol), which is finally hydrolyzed to Glycerol liquid.
