Glutathione powder is a tripeptide compound formed by condensation of glutamic acid, cysteine and glycine through peptide bonds. Glutathione CAS 70-18-8 is colorless transparent elongated granular crystal, soluble in water, dilute alcohol, liquid ammonia and dimethylformamide, but insoluble in ethanol, ether and acetone.
