Gastrodin powder, also known as Gastrodin, is a sedative, hypnotic and anticonvulsant drug extracted from the dried root of Gastrodia, a plant of the orchid family. Gastrodin is hydrolyzed with bitter almond enzyme. P-hydroxymethylbenzenol aglycones can be obtained.
