Biphenyl powder Raw Materials CAS 92-52-4 Details
Biphenyl Powder Usage and Synthesis:
Biphenyl is a colorless to light yellow flake crystal with a special fragrance. It is prepared by thermal cracking and dehydrogenation of benzene as raw material, and can be exploded by mixing with air; reacts vigorously with oxidizing agents. Commonly used as organic synthesis precursors, derivatives include benzidine, biphenyl ether, octabromobiphenyl ether, polychlorinated biphenyl, etc. Biphenyl is naturally found in coal tar, crude oil and natural gas. Used in the preparation of pressure-sensitive paper, special coatings and other organic synthesis. Used as a heat transfer agent. Reference for chromatographic analysis and anti-mold agent for fruits. It is a better organic heat carrier and a raw material for making high quality insulating liquid. Our company provide all kinds of professional chemical raw materials.
Pharmacokinetics of Biphenyl Powder:
Biphenyl is commonly used as a precursor for organic synthesis and is one of the main components of organic high temperature heat carriers. The chemical bond in the middle of biphenyl can rotate freely, but if there are bulky groups in the four neighboring positions, the rotation is blocked and a rotation-blocking isomer is produced. This type of compound (e.g. BINAP) can be used as a chiral ligand. Substituted biphenyls can be produced by coupling reactions such as Suzuki reaction and Ullmann reaction. Organisms include benzidine, biphenyl ethers, octabromobiphenyl ethers, polychlorinated biphenyls, etc. Natural biphenyl exists in coal tar, crude oil and natural gas, and the mass fraction in coal tar is 0.20%-0.40%. The current methods of biphenyl preparation include coal tar extraction and chemical synthesis.
Clinical Application of Biphenyl Powder:
Biphenyl is used in the preparation of pressure sensitive paper, specialty coatings and other organic synthesis. Used as a heat transfer agent. It is used as a reference for chromatographic analysis and as an anti-mold agent for fruits. Used in small amount in daily use flavor and edible flavor, often used as heat exchanger and intermediate of organic compounds. Used as plasticizer, preservative, also used in the manufacture of dyes, engineering plastics, high energy fuel, antifungal drug intermediates 4-phenyl benzophenone, etc. Used for anti-mold of grapefruit, orange, lemon and other citrus fresh fruit skin. Generally impregnated with this product paper sheet placed in the upper and lower part of the container, in storage and transport process biphenyl sublimation, adsorption in the peel, to play the role of anti-mold.
