    Using safrole as raw material, isosafrole was obtained by isomerization under reduced pressure, and piperaldehyde was synthesized by oxidation. Piperaldehyde is condensed with nitromethane to obtain β-nitro-3, 4-dioxylene styrene, further reduced to piperitylamine, piperitylamine is condensed with o-veratraldehyde, and then by catalytic hydrogenation, salting, cyclization, and alkalization to berberine.
