The route of fatty acid and ammonia reaction to synthesise fatty amide is the main route.

1. Take the appropriate amount of oleic acid in a reaction pot equipped with a stirrer, hygrometer, air conduit and water separator, add 1% of catalyst (titanate compounds) and turn on the stirring. After warming up to 160-170 ℃, ammonia was vented at a rate of 100 L/h. After a reaction time of 9-11 h, the vented gas was stopped and stirring was continued for 30 min. The temperature was lowered to below 100 ℃ and ethanol was added.

3. Cool the system and filter to obtain a light yellow powder. Redissolve the resulting powder with ethanol, add activated carbon, heat and reflux for 1h, filter while hot.
