Product details

Uses and synthesis of L-Glutamine Powder

L-Glutamine Powder is widely found in nature, e.g., in the free state in pumpkin and sunflower seedlings, and its N-ethyl compound (theanine) in tea.L-Glutamine CAS 56-85-9 can be extracted from natural products, but fermentation and synthesis are used for mass production.

L-Glutamine CAS 56-85-9 is a white crystal or crystalline powder.

L-Glutamine Powder

L-Glutamine Raw Materials Colorless needle-like crystals; odorless and tasteless.

L-Glutamine Powder participates in the biosynthesis of glucosamine, a constituent of mucin in the mucous membrane of the digestive tract, which promotes the repair of mucous epithelial tissues and helps to eliminate ulcer foci. At the same time, L-Glutamine Raw Materials can promote brain metabolism through the blood-brain barrier and improve brain function. L-Glutamine Powder is an important nutrient for brain metabolism, just like glutamic acid.

Applications / Functions of L-Glutamine Powder

L-Glutamine CAS 56-85-9

L-Glutamine Raw Materials is used in biochemical research, medicine for peptic ulcer, mental disorders, alcoholism, epileptic brain dysfunction and other diseases, used to improve the mental development of children.

L-Glutamine Raw Materials is converted into glycosamine in the body, as a precursor for synthesizing mucin, which can promote ulcer healing, and is mainly used as peptic ulcer medicine. In addition, L-Glutamine Powder can also be used as a brain function improvement agent and for the treatment of alcohol.

L-Glutamine Powder properties and stability

  1. L-Glutamine Powder participates in the biosynthesis of glucosamine, a constituent of mucin in the mucous membrane of the digestive tract, thus promoting the repair of mucous membrane epithelial tissues and contributing to the elimination of ulcer foci. At the same time, L-Glutamine Raw Materials can promote brain metabolism through the blood-brain barrier and improve brain function, and is an important nutrient for brain metabolism as glutamic acid.
  2. L-Glutamine Raw Materials exists in tobacco leaves, smoke.
  3. L-Glutamine CAS 56-85-9 has value in the field of immunity. Converts toxic ammonia into non-toxic glutamine in living organisms, which is excreted in urine. Generally not involved in protein composition .

L-Glutamine Raw Materials.

L-Glutamine CAS 56-85-9 colorless needle-like crystals; odorless and tasteless; soluble in water (solubility 3.6% in water at 25℃), slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in ether, methanol, benzene, acetone, chloroform, ethyl acetate and glacial acetic acid; unstable with heat, acid and alkali, easily hydrolyzed to L-glutamic acid; pI5.65, decomposition point 185-186℃; specific optical rotation [ α]23D+6.1°(0.5-2mg/ml in water), [α]20D+32°(0.5-2mg/ml in 1mol/L hydrochloric acid).

Production methodprocess of L-Glutamine Powder

L-Glutamine CAS 56-85-9 is widely found in nature, e.g., in the free state in pumpkin and sunflower seedlings, and its N-ethyl compound (theanine) in tea leaves. Although glutamine can be extracted from natural products, fermentation and synthesis are used for mass production.

  1. L-Glutamine Powder is widely found in nature, e.g., in the free state in pumpkin and sunflower seedlings, and its N-ethyl compound (theanine) in tea leaves. Although glutamine can be extracted from natural products, fermentation and synthesis are used for mass production.1. Synthesis is obtained from L-glutamic acid-5-methyl ester ([1499-55-4]) by condensation, addition, salt formation, and hydrolysis. Glutamic acid is esterified with methanol in the presence of concentrated sulfuric acid, and the resulting esterified solution is added dropwise to a mixture of methanol and carbon disulfide, and ammonia is passed through under cooling while dropping. After the dropwise addition of the esterified solution, the ammonia was continued to be passed, and then triethylamine was added and placed in a closed position at 30°C for 40 h. After concentration under reduced pressure to drive off the ammonia, the γ-methyl-L-glutamic acid-N-ammonium diammonium salt of aminodravidic acid was obtained as a concentrate. It was heated to 40-45°C and acetic acid was added. After stirring for 30 min, carbon disulfide was removed under reduced pressure, at which time a large number of crystals were precipitated. Then add an equal volume of methanol, placed at 0 ℃ for 12h, filtration, the crude glutamine. After decolorization by activated carbon and recrystallization, the finished product was obtained.2. Fermentation method: Glucose, acetic acid and ethanol were used as the carbon source of the medium, and the fermentation was carried out by the strain of Brevibacteriumflavum, and the yield of glucose was 39g/L, and the yield was 39%.
  2. L-Glutamine Raw Materials was obtained via γ-hydrazide, usually by amidating L-glutamic acid γ-methyl ester in the presence of carbon disulfide.
  3. L-Glutamine was dissolved in methanol and sulfuric acid, neutralized with ammonia, added carbon disulfide, neutralized with ammonia, added acetic acid after removing ammonia, evaporated the sulfur-containing compounds, then added methanol, filtered and dried to obtain L-Glutamine Raw Materials.
