Production methodprocess of Lipoic acid Powder
(1) Take sodium sulfide in a beaker, add distilled water to the beaker, and heat and stir it below 50°C to dissolve it to form a 3 mol/L sodium sulfide solution; add sulfur to the resulting sodium sulfide solution, and stir it to dissolve it, so that the concentration of sulfur in the sodium sulfide solution is 3.5 mol/L, and obtain a mixed solution;
(2) Add ethyl 6,8-dichlorooctanoate and distilled water sequentially to the photoreactor to formulate a 3 mol/L ethyl 6,8-dichlorooctanoate solution, and then add a phase transfer catalyst to the solution, and stir to raise the temperature to 82-84 °C;
(3) The mixed solution obtained from step (1) was added dropwise to the reaction solution of step (2) at a volume ratio of 5:3.5 within 180 min, while a 1000 W xenon lamp was used and a cut-off filter of 680 nm was used for photocatalysis of the reaction solution, and the reaction solution was stirred at a speed of 200 r/min;
(4) Sodium sulfite was added to the photoreactor after the cyclization reaction, such that the concentration of sodium sulfite in the reaction solution was 0.45 mol/L, and the reaction was carried out under photocatalysis at 86-90°C for 60 min.
(5) After the reaction was completed, the reaction solution was extracted at 80 to 90°C, the organic layer was diluted with toluene, while the aqueous layer was extracted with toluene, the toluene layers were combined, and then the toluene layer was rotary evaporated to a constant weight, to obtain ethyl thioctanoate; and then the ethyl thioctanoate was hydrolyzed and acidified to obtain Lipoic acid Powder.
