Ivermectin powder is a new type of broad-spectrum, high-efficiency and low-toxicity antibiotic antiparasitic drug, which has good anti-parasitic effect on both internal and external parasites, especially nematodes and arthropods. Ivermectin is widely used in gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworms and parasitic arthropods in cattle, sheep, horses, pigs, intestinal nematodes in dogs, ear mites, sarcoptes, heartworms and microfilariae, and gastrointestinal nematodes and ectoparasites in poultry. Ivermectin powder, a derivative of abamectin, is an oral semi-synthetic broad-spectrum antiparasitic drug. Ivermectin powder is effective on most (but not all) nematodes of all life cycles. It is effective for microfilaria of Onchocerca, but not for adults.
