Fenofibrate powder is white or white crystalline powder, odorless, tasteless. The trade name is Lipingit, which is a type of drug called fibrate. The melting point is 80-81°C. Highly soluble in chloroform, easily soluble in acetone or ether, slightly soluble in ethanol, almost insoluble in water, molecular formula :C20H21ClO4, molecular weight :360.83100. Fenofibrate is used to reduce cholesterol levels in patients at risk of cardiovascular disease. Like other Bates, fenofibrate reduces low density lipoprotein (LDL) and very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) levels, and can raise high density lipoprotein (HDL) levels and lower triglyceride (TG) levels. 

Fenofibrate powder, also known as prozhefen, is a blood lipid regulator of Clobetidine, which belongs to the same class of lipid regulating drugs as gefefibrate and benzabate. Fenofibrate powder was first applied to clinic in 1975, and was launched in the United States in 1998. Now it is marketed in as many as 85 countries and regions around the world.
