Product details
Butenafine powder is a derivative of benzoylamine. Its mechanism of action is to selectively inhibit fungal squalene cycoperoxidase, interfere with ergosterol biosynthesis in fungal cell walls, affect lipid metabolism of fungi, and cause fungal cell damage or death, thus playing a bactericidal and antibacterial role. The inhibition of fungal ergosterol synthesis by Butenafine made fungal cell membranes more sensitive to the direct cell membrane destruction of butenafine. In addition, human trials have confirmed that Butenafine powder has outstanding anti-inflammatory activity and can eliminate erythematous skin lesions caused by UVB exposure. Naftifen also has a strong anti-inflammatory effect, while terbinafine has no such effect.
Applications/Functions of Butenafine powder
Physicochemical Property of Butenafine powder
Production methodprocess of Butenafine powder
Butenafine powder was prepared from 1-naphthalene carboxylic acid by chlorination with sulfone chloride, which was condensed with 1- (4-tert-butylbenzene) -n-methylmethylmethylamine to obtain N- (4-tert-butylbenzyl) -n-methyl-1-naphthalamic acid, and then reduced by lithium aluminum hydride to form salt.
