Uses and synthesis of N,N-Diethylhydroxylamine liquid

N, n-diethylhydroxylamine liquid is a liquid at room temperature. Soluble in water, the aqueous solution is weakly alkaline. Higher than 570℃ due to oxidation decomposition, decomposition products are acetaldehyde, dialkylamines, iron acetate and acetaldoxime, and a small amount of ammonia, nitrate and nitrite formation. Extremely volatile in heat. N, N-diethylhydroxylamine is used as a deaerator in steam boiler water system, which is not only suitable for low temperature deaeration, but also suitable for high temperature steam condensate circulation system. N, N-diethylhydroxylamine is also used as a passivating agent for metal on the water side surface of the device. In addition,N, N-diethylhydroxylamine liquid can also be used as a polymerization inhibitor, a chain transfer agent, for the determination of aldehydes, and as an antioxidant and corrosion inhibitor for metal equipment.

Production methodprocess of N,N-Diethylhydroxylamine liquid

N, n-diethylhydroxylamine can be prepared by oxidizing secondary amine with aqueous hydrogen peroxide in the presence of cadmium salt (CdCl2·2H2 0) or zinc salt (ZlCl2), or oxidizing dialkylamine (RRNH) or triethylamine with aqueous hydrogen peroxide in the presence of titanium silicite catalyst.
