Applications / Functions of Cinnamic acid Powder
Physicochemical Property of Cinnamic acid Powder
White monoclinic prismatic crystal. Cinnamic acid Raw Materials Soluble in ethanol, methanol, petroleum ether, chloroform, soluble in benzene, ethyl ether, acetone, glacial acetic acid, carbon disulfide and oil, insoluble in water.
Production methodprocess of Cinnamic acid Powder
Cinnamic acid Powder is obtained by co-heating benzyl chloride with sodium acetate.
Cinnamic acid Powder is obtained by co-heating benzaldehyde with sodium acetate (or potassium acetate) in the presence of dehydrogenating agent acetic anhydride.
Cinnamic Acid Powder is obtained by mixing benzylacetone, sodium carbonate and bleaching powder, and the resulting sodium cinnamate is then treated with sulfuric acid.
