D-delta-Tocopherol liquid is a naturally occurring plant secondary metabolite and is also a phenolic compound. D-delta-Tocopherol is usually a yellow crystalline solid with an odorless or slightly fragrant bitter taste. It is insoluble in water, but soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, acetone and chloroform.
