Physicochemical Property of L-Lysine powder

White or nearly white free-flowing crystalline powder. Almost odourless, melts and decomposes at 263~264℃. Usually stable, easy to agglomerate under high humidity, slightly coloured.

Stable when the relative humidity is below 60%, above 60%, it will form dihydrate.L-Lysine powder is coloured when coexisting with vitamin C and vitamin K3. It is decomposed when heated under alkaline condition and direct presence of reducing sugar.
