Silymarin powder, also known as Yiganling, ligantai, Silimalin and Liganon, is a flavonoid complex formed by condensation of dihydroflavonol and phenylpropyl derivatives extracted from the seeds of milk thistle in the asteraceae family. Silymarin is yellow or crystalline powder with bitter taste.
