Dinitolamide is mainly used as a feed additive for poultry (especially chickens) to prevent and control coccidiosis caused by Eimeria. Coccidiosis is a common parasitic disease in poultry that can cause intestinal damage, growth retardation, and death. Dinitolamide prevents and treats coccidia by interfering with their metabolic processes, inhibiting their growth and reproduction.
