Uses and synthesis of Sulfaguanidine powder

Sulfaguanidine powder is a white acicular crystalline powder that is odorless or almost odorless and odorless. The light changes gradually. The melting point is 189 ~ 192℃. Sulfaguanidine is dissolved in boiling water and slightly soluble in water, ethanol or acetone. Soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid. Insoluble in sodium hydroxide solution. Sulfaguanidine is a low-grade sulfonamides drug that inhibits bacteria. It is mainly used for the production of sulfadiazine, sulfadiazine and other advanced sulfonamides.

1. Sulfaguanidine powder is used in bacillary dysentery, enteritis, etc.

Sulfaguanidine white acicular crystalline powder. Melting point 190-193℃, 1g soluble in about 1000ml25℃ water, soluble in about 10ml100℃ water. Slightly soluble in ethanol or acetone, easily soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid. Odorless, tasteless, gradually darker in light.
