β-Alanine is named beta-Alanine in English, also known as 3-amino-propionic acid, molecular formula is C3H7NO2, molecular weight is 89.09, CAS registration number is 107-95-9, β-Alanine is a white prismatic crystal, mainly used to synthesize pantothenic acid and calcium pantothenate, carnosine, pamidronate sodium, balsalazine, etc. It is widely used in medicine, feed, food and other fields. β-Alanine powder is a non-essential amino acid; it is the only naturally occurring β-amino acid.
