Irbesartan powder is a receptor inhibitor of AngiotensinⅡ (AngⅡ). By selectively blocking the binding of AngⅡ to AT1 receptor, Irbesartan powder can inhibit vasoconstriction and release of aldosterone, resulting in antihypertensive effects. Irbesartan does not inhibit angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE), renin, or other hormone receptors, nor does it inhibit ion channels involved in blood pressure regulation and sodium balance.
