Zinc stearate powder is a fine white light powder. Molecular formula ZN(C17H35COO)2, molecular structure RCOOZnOOCR(R is mixed alkyl in industrial stearic acid), flammable, specific gravity 1.095, ignition point 900℃, density 1.095, melting point 130℃, slippery. Insoluble in water, ethanol, ether, soluble in hot ethanol, turpentine, benzene and other organic solvents and acids. Zinc stearate is heated and dissolved in an organic solvent. When cooled, it becomes a gel and is decomposed into stearic acid and the corresponding zinc salt. Lubricity, hygroscopic, non-toxic, slightly irritating, pollution-free, no danger characteristics. Zinc stearate and calcium stearate can be separated by the property that zinc stearate is soluble in benzene and calcium stearate is insoluble in benzene.

Production methodprocess of Zinc stearate powder
The zinc sulfate aqueous solution with a content of 1074kg/m3(10° Be) was added to the sodium stearate solution prepared above, and the compound decomposition reaction was carried out at about 60℃, and the product zinc stearate was precipitated. Then the Zinc stearate powder is obtained by standing filtration, washing and drying at about 90℃.
