Creatine HCL CAS 17050-09-8 is white crystalline powder. Amount of hydrochloric acid (HCl): weigh the product about 0.3g, add 50ml of newly boiled cold water to dissolve, add 2-3 drops of phenolphthalein indicator solution, titrate with sodium hydroxide titrant (0.1mol/L) until the solution shows pink color, every 1ml sodium hydroxide titrant (0.1mol/L) is equivalent to 3.646mg of HCl, the amount of HCl shall not be less than 21.0%.
