Uses and synthesis of Irbesartan powder

Irbesartan powder is a receptor inhibitor of AngiotensinⅡ (AngⅡ). By selectively blocking the binding of AngⅡ to AT1 receptor, Irbesartan powder can inhibit vasoconstriction and release of aldosterone, resulting in antihypertensive effects. Irbesartan does not inhibit angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE), renin, or other hormone receptors, nor does it inhibit ion channels involved in blood pressure regulation and sodium balance. Irbesartan can also reduce the electrical remodeling of myocardium, thus reducing the mortality of hypertensive patients, and is currently the most effective drug for the treatment of hypertension and cardiovascular diseases.
