Albendazole powder is white or white-like powder, odorless, tasteless, insoluble in water, slightly soluble in acetone or chloroform. Albendazole is a broad spectrum dewormer with high efficiency and low toxicity. Clinical can be used to drive roundworm, pinworm, tapeworm, whipworm, hookworm, strongyloides faecalis and so on. After metabolizing to sulfoxides or sulfones in the body, it inhibits the absorption of glucose by the parasite, leading to the depletion of glycogen, or inhibits the fumarate reductase system, blocking the production of ATP, so that the parasite cannot survive and reproduce. Albendazole is a highly effective and broad-spectrum insecticidal drug of benzimidazole, which has a broad insecticidal spectrum and the strongest insecticidal action among benzimidazole. It is highly active to nematodes, schistosoma and tapeworms, and has a significant inhibitory effect on egg development.

How Albendazole powder works.
Albendazole works by interfering with the polymerization of tubulin in parasite cells. Tubulin is an important component of the cytoskeleton and is involved in important processes such as cell division and material transport.
Albendazole binds to the parasite's β-tubulin and inhibits its polymerization to form microtubules, thereby blocking the normal function of the parasite cells and causing the death of the parasite. Because mammalian tubulin is slightly different from that of parasites, albendazole is relatively less toxic to mammals.

O-nitroaniline was used as raw material. O-nitroaniline first reacts with sodium thiocyanate to form 2-nitro-4-thiocyanide in the condition of chlorination, then reacts with bromopropane to form 2-nitro-4-propyl thiocyanide, which is reduced by sodium sulfide to 2-amino-4-propyl thiocyanide, and finally synthesizes Albendazole powder with methyl cyanoformate
