Production methodprocess of Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate powder
- One-step method Lactic acid and stearic acid are put into the reactor according to the molar ratio of 2:1, add the concentrated sulfuric acid of 1.5% of the mass of stearic acid, and react at 105℃ for 4h, until no water evaporates; after the reaction is over, lower the temperature, slowly add sodium hydroxide solution to neutralise, and it can be prepared into the emulsion of Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate Raw Materials with solid content of 10%.
- Two-step method Lactic acid is polymerised under mildly reduced pressure, then stearic acid is added for esterification under the condition of carbon dioxide, and then sodium carbonate is added to neutralise the Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate powder, but it is quite difficult to control the degree of polymerisation of lactic acid in this method, which leads to unstable product quality.
